In 1986 he migrated to Israel where he continued career as a
conductor.In 1987 he joined the Cameran Singers, and in 1988 was part of an
Israeli group of conductors sent to Germany for advanced studies by the
Histadrut. He has conducted several choirs for the lasts 15 years in Israel.
In 1991 Eduardo completed further studies at the Rubin Academy of Music and
Dance in Jerusalem, specializing in conducting. In 1995 he founded the "Tango Bar" ensemble, which has
appeared all over the country and abroad with different tango programs,
playing music from the beginning of the century until the modern tango style
created by Astor Piazzolla. He studied bandoneon under Cesar Stroscio in Paris, and also took
several master classes in Buenos Aires. From 1996 he has being appointed as
coordinator of the Beith Shemesh city's cultural budget. In 1998 he funded
the "Ensemble Latinoamerica" performing a special commemorative concert
for the Chilean singer Violeta Parra. The ensemble appears also with the
"Misa Criolla" & "Navidad Nuestra", In 2000 he produces and appears as bandoneon solist in the Israel
Festival, together with Susana Rinaldi and Horacio Ferrer in the world
premiere of EL PUEBLO JOVEN, making also the choral arrangements for this
piece. Eduardo Abramson appears also in Buenos Aires, Argentine, in tango
concerts together with guitarist Victor Villadangos. In 2003/4 he appears with the Israel Chamber Orchestra in a tango
program conducted by Noam Sheriff, and with the Ramat Gan Chamber Orchestra
in a Tango program conducted by Aviv Ron, playing bandoneon solo and also as
a singer. He also join the PHOENIX CONSORT OF VIOLES, directed by Mirna
Herzog, as a viol player and as a singer, playing in several concerts around
the country. In 2005 Eduardo was
invited by the UNIVERSIDAD AUTONOMA DE MADRID ORCHESTRA to play two concerts
in Spain and France with guitarist MARTIN ACKERMAN, and he will play also
with guitarist VICTOR VILLADANGOS, in Spain, Germany Switzerland and Israel. |
